The West Stockbridge Chamber Players Winter Concert --
the musical high note of the holiday season!
The acclaimed West Stockbridge Chamber Players will perform a benefit concert at the Congregational Church in West Stockbridge on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 5 p.m. Catherine Hudgins, the Chamber Players’ artistic director, has created another inspiring program, this time featuring the work of classical masters Brahms, Beethoven, and Mozart.
Three of the Chamber Players beloved long-time members – Catherine Hudgins on clarinet, Sheila Fiekowsky on violin, and Daniel Getz on viola – will be joined by newcomer Brian Locke on piano. The concert includes Brahms’ Scherzo de la Sonate FAE and his Viola Sonata in F minor, Op. 120. No 1, Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 1 in D major, Op. 12, No. 1, and Mozart’s Trio in E-flat major, K 498 Kegelstatt.
Performed in the intimate and festive Congregational Church, these winter concerts are always among the most popular of the holiday season in the Berkshires. They routinely sell out.
