Love is in the air — literally! Whether it’s a dance, a song, a gift, or even a fight, our wild neighbors in the Berkshires have so many fascinating strategies to find a partner or strengthen their bonds. Discover the weird and wonderful courtship rituals of local species and take a closer look at the ways that animal families work together. After exploring examples from the world of mammals, birds, amphibians and more, you’ll have plenty to look and listen for during your next outdoor excursion this coming spring.
Nicaela Haig is a teacher-naturalist…
