Join the West Stockbridge Historical Society for an interactive evening with master conservator Troy J. Amuso on Saturday, October 3, 2026, 6:30 to 8 pm, at the Old Town Hall, 9 Main Street.
Inspired by the Antiques Roadshow, this hands-on program invites attendees to submit their own oil paintings for live evaluation—not for monetary value but to explore condition, restoration possibilities, and conservation techniques. Through before-and-after images and stories from museums, historical societies, and private collections across New England, Amuso will explain what causes paintings to deteriorate and how to protect artwork at home. The evening wraps up with an audience Q&A followed by a reception with light refreshments.
Tickets are $20 for WSHS members, $30 for non-members, with all proceeds benefiting the West Stockbridge…
