Join Dr. Thea Kristensen from Amherst College as she talks about the MassMammals project, including its subsidiary MassBears, which explores black bear distribution and behavior in Massachusetts. Working with community participants to collect various forms of sightings data and collaborating with local schools and organizations, MassMammals provides a fascinating range of information about local wildlife. Learn about the origins of this important project, its current research directions, and how you can get involved.
